Our Jury: Selection Excellence

The Catalina Underwater Film Festival is committed to a rigorous and impartial judging process. Our jury will be composed of a diverse panel of world-renowned underwater cinematographers, marine biologists, conservationists, and film industry veterans.

The Evaluation Process: Each submission will be evaluated on its technical execution, narrative impact, and contribution to ocean advocacy. Our jurors look for "Films That Awaken New Depths"—works that move beyond traditional documentaries to inspire a true transformation for our blue planet.

The 2027 Festival Jury will be announced in Summer 2026.
