2027 Film Schedule: Save the Date

The inaugural Catalina Underwater Film Festival will take place February 19–20, 2027, at the historic Casino Point Theatre in Avalon. While the official selection of films will be announced in January 2027, you can look forward to a curated weekend of immersive ocean storytelling.

What to Expect:

• Opening Night Premiere: A high-impact feature documentary followed by a Director’s Q&A.

• Awards Ceremony: Our closing ceremony celebrating the best in underwater cinematography.

• Artist Panels: In-depth discussions with the filmmakers and scientists behind the screen.
